Aaron Pajich-Sweetman
On 13 June 2016, 18-year-old Aaron Lee Pajich-Sweetman disappeared from Rockingham, Western Australia. During the night of 20–21 June, police searching a property in Orelia found his body. Two women—25-year-old Jemma Victoria Lilley and 42-year-old Trudi Clare Lenon—were arrested and charged with murder. On 1 November 2017, Lilley and Lenon were convicted of the murder of Pajich by the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and on 28 February 2018, they were sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 28 years. Kenneth Sweetman
Kenneth Jay Sweetman (born 1953) is an organist currently based in the United States. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and graduated from Calvin College and the University of Michigan. Career Sweetman became Assistant Organist of Chichester Cathedral in 1980, working with both John Birch and his successor, Alan Thurlow. He left Chichester in 1981. He has been Director of Music of Mariners' Church, Detroit, Michigan since 1982. Sweetman has also given numerous recitals in churches across Michigan and in the Great Lakes region of the Midwestern United States, in addition to many recitals around the UK. Rory Sweetman (born 1956) is a professional New Zealand historian. He teaches at the University of Otago in modern Irish history and has published widely on New Zealand’s ethnic and religious past. Roger Mary Sweetman (18 August 1874 – 20 May 1954) was an Irish Sinn Féin politician and barrister. Early life Sweetman was the son of brewer Hugh Sweetman of Roebuck Hall, Dundrum, Dublin, from a Catholic family that became prosperous as brewers in the 18th century. His mother was Gertrude Blackney. He was educated at Downside School. He was called to the bar from King's Inns in 1898. An amateur tennis player, he won the 1905 East of Ireland championship, and in 1902 reached the final of the Irish Open men's doubles and lost to Sydney Howard Smith in the first round of the Wimbledon singles. Rodney Noel Sweetman (born 21 June 1953) is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1996 to 2005. Sweetman was born in the Perth suburb of Subiaco. He was first elected to state parliament at the 1996 state election winning the seat of Ningaloo and was subsequently re-elected to the same seat at the 2001 state election. Ningaloo was abolished ahead of the 2005 state election with its territory split between Murchison-Eyre and the new seat of North West Coastal. Rebecca Jane Sweetman is an Irish classical scholar. She is Professor of Ancient History and Archaeology and Head of the School of Classics at the University of St Andrews. Sweetman is known in particular for her work on the archaeology of Roman and Late Antique Greece. From September 2022, she will take up an appointment as Director of the British School at Athens. Career Sweetman studied Archaeology and Classics at University College Dublin. She spent a year working on excavations and then completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham on the Roman and Early Christian Mosaics of Crete. Milo Sweetman
Milo Sweetman (died 1380) was a fourteenth-century Irish Archbishop of Armagh, who was noted for his fierce defence of the privileges of his archdiocese. He was treasurer of the Diocese of Ossory by 1360, and in that year he was elected Bishop of Ossory by the Cathedral Chapter. His election was cancelled by Pope Innocent VI in favour of John de Tatenhale, who had already been promised the see. However in the following year as a "consolation prize" Innocent appointed him to the vacant office of Archbishop of Armagh.
