Sweet Lillies
The Sweet Lillies are an Americana/ bluegrass band from Boulder, Colorado History The Sweet Lillies formed in 2013 when classically trained vocalist Julie Gussaroff met classically trained violist Becca Bisque at a bluegrass jam in Golden, Colorado. The two wished to start a band, Gussaroff said, would be "a female vocally led group with high-level instrumentation and original songwriting." They added Danjo Lynn Birnberng in 2014 and Melly Frances Sponselee in 2016 to complete the lineup and released their debut, self-titled album in 2016. Birnberg left the band in 2017, and the Sweet Lillies continued as a trio. They recorded their second album, ''A Lighter Hue'', produced by Leftover Salmon's Vince Herman the following year. Following the release of ''A Lighter Hue'', the band added guitarist Dustin Rohleder. Leftover Salmon
Leftover Salmon is an American jam band from Boulder, Colorado, formed in 1989. The band's music is a blend of bluegrass, rock, country, and Cajun/Zydeco. Over their thirty years as a band Salmon have released seven studio albums and three live albums. The band celebrated their continuing thirty-year career with the release of the biographical book, '' Leftover Salmon: Thirty Years of Festival!'' and a vinyl box-set re-release of all of their studio albums. Vince Herman
Vince Herman is a guitarist and singer-songwriter best known for being one of the founding members of Leftover Salmon. Leftover Salmon started in 1989 as somewhat of a melding of the Left Hand String Band and the Salmonheads, and became more and more popular over the sixteen years that followed. The band decided to go their separate ways in 2005, but still play together (billed as Leftover Salmon) on occasion. Since the hiatus, Herman formed a new band named Great American Taxi, who released their debut album in 2007. GAT toured extensively and garnered a following, with hijinks such as joining Peter Rowan on stage and playing a Ficus tree for Moonalice. Vince toured with GAT until the Leftover Salmon tours called Vince away in 2013. Railroad Earth
Railroad Earth is a bluegrass-influenced Americana band formed in Stillwater, New Jersey in 2001. The band's music combines elements of progressive bluegrass, folk, rock, country, jazz, Celtic and other Americana influences. Recognized as "carrying on the tradition of improvisational, genre-spanning music laid forth by the Grateful Dead," Railroad Earth is known for lyrical songwriting and extensive live improvisation.
