''Sweet Angel'' ( si, ස්වීට් ඒන්ජල්, italic=yes) is a 2011 Sri Lankan Sinhala drama thriller film directed by Nishantha Weerasingha and produced by Susan Fernando for Lionel Films. It stars Suresh Gamage and new coming actress Deepa Chandi in lead roles along with Manel Wanaguru and Sanju Rodrigo. Music co-composed by Madhava Hawawasam and Lassana Jayasekara. It is the 1159th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Manel Wanaguru
Manel Chinthamani Wanaguru ( si, මානෙල් වානගුරු; born 18 October 1951), is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. Personal life Manel Wanaguru was born on 18 October 1951. Her father Dudley Samuel Wanaguru was also an actor in Sinhala cinema. Dudley was born on 16 December 1922 and died on 29 July, 2003. He was a past pupil of St. Joseph's College, Wattala. He made his debut acting through film ''Eda Ra'' and then acted in many films such as ''Daiwa Wipakaya'', ''Hadisi Vivahaya'', ''Gehenu Geta'' and ''Patachara''. He also directed the film ''Sengawunu Menika''. Her mother was Indrani Dissanayake, who was a housewife. Manel has six siblings: Upendra, Lakshman, Tissa, Nihal, Tamara and Rohan. Sri Lankan cinema encompasses the Sri Lankan film industry. It is a fledgling industry that has struggled to find a footing since its inauguration in 1947 with '' Kadawunu Poronduwa'' produced by S. M. Nayagam of Chitra Kala Movietone. Sri Lankan films are usually made in Sinhala and Tamil languages, the dominant languages of the country. Wasantha Kumaravila (born on December 31, 1955, as වසන්ත කුමාරවිල inhala is a Sri Lankan actor, and stunt director. Particularly active in cinema in villain roles, Kumaravila is also a film producer and stunt performer. He is most notable for the role "Wasantha" in soap opera ''Nilanjana'' directed by Suki Jeyaram. Early life He was born on 31 December 1978 in Kalutara. He has one elder brother. His brother acted in few stage dramas. Kumaravila is married to his longtime partner Aruni and the couple has two daughters, Mahima and Tharushi.
