Sweet (film)
''Sweet'' is a 2000 short film directed by James Pilkington starring Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt that is set in Camden, London. Overview ''Sweet'' is an early collaboration of the Mighty Boosh comedy duo Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, and is featured in the extras of the ''Mighty Boosh'' series 2 DVD. It is narrated by Noel Fielding as Pete Sweet, and tells the story of his torrid relationship with Poppy, the imaginary sister of his friend Dave. After meeting in a club, the sexually adventurous Pete and Poppy go out for a while, until Poppy reveals herself to be pregnant and they cool it off. Noel Fielding
Noel Fielding (; (born 21 May 1973) is an English actor and comedian. He is best known for his work with The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside Julian Barratt in the 2000s, and more recently as a co-presenter of ''The Great British Bake Off'' since 2017. He is known for his dark and surreal comedic style. In the 1990s, Fielding began performing stand-up comedy and met Barratt on the comedy circuit. Julian Barratt
Julian Barratt Pettifer (born 4 May 1968) is an English comedian, actor and musician. As a comedian and comic actor, he is known for his use of surreal humour and black comedy. During the 2000s he was part of The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside comedy partner Noel Fielding. Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Barratt was educated at the University of Reading. Big Boss Man is an English funk and Latin band formed in 1998 in London, England. It consists of Nasser Bouzida a.k.a. "The Bongolian" on organs, percussion and vocals, Badger Burgess on bass guitar, Trevor Harding on electric guitar and Desmond Rogers on drums. Formation and early years Nasser Bouzida, was brought up in Harlow, England, but his formative years were spent in Newbury, Berkshire. He always had a strong love for Latin music. The Mighty Boosh is a British comedy troupe featuring comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. ''The Mighty Boosh''s second series was originally broadcast between 26 July 2005 and 30 August 2005. The series features five main cast members: Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding, Rich Fulcher, Michael Fielding and Dave Brown. The second series centers on Howard Moon (Barratt) and Vince Noir (Fielding), and the adventures they have whilst living in their flat.
