Sweet (company)
Sweet, founded by Shannon Wentworth and Jen Rainen in April 2008, is a travel company, which sells eco-friendly vacation packages and tours to the lesbian community. Sweet's mission is to offer vacations that empower and motivate guests to achieve their personal, professional, and philanthropic goals. Sweet travelers or "Sweeties," have raised over $500,000 in cash and in-kind donations, planted 6,217 trees, removed 407 bags of trash from beaches, and revitalized five schools and parks. In furtherance of Sweet's efforts to help the environment, the company teamed up with CarbonFund.org to help reforest a large area along the Tensas River in Louisiana. Suzanne Westenhoefer (born March 31, 1961 in Columbia, Pennsylvania) is an American out lesbian stand-up comedian. She starred as a panelist on GSN's 2006 remake of ''I've Got a Secret'', which featured a panel of gay celebrities who had to guess the various guests' 'secrets' through a series of timed questions. Her comedy special and documentary, '' A Bottom on Top'', aired on LOGO Television in the fall of 2007. In 2004 she was featured in the film ''Laughing Matters'' along with Kate Clinton, Marga Gomez and Karen Williams. After accepting a dare, she began her career delivering gay-themed material to straight audiences in mainstream comedy clubs in New York City in the early 1990s. Gloria "Glo" Bigelow is an American comedian, writer, and actress based in Los Angeles. Biography Bigelow was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in the nearby suburb of Mount Lebanon.
