Swedish Auxiliary Naval Corps
The National Association of Naval Volunteer Corps ( sv, Sjövärnskårernas Riksförbund, SVK RF), commonly known as the Swedish Auxiliary Naval Corps ( sv, Sjövärnskåren, SVK) is a Swedish auxiliary defence organization that cooperate with the Swedish Armed Forces. Task The task of SNV is to give further education to seamen and officers of the Swedish Navy, to provide personnel to the marine parts of the Swedish Home Guard and to introduce young people to the work in the Navy and other maritime professions through their youth organization known as the Swedish Sea Cadet Corps (SSCC). Swedish Voluntary Radio Organization
The Swedish Voluntary Radio Organization ( sv, Frivilliga radioorganisationen, FRO) is a Swedish volunteer defense organization (a signals auxiliary) that aims to maintain and develop excellence in Communications and Information systems (Information Technology - and radio communication). FRO trains radio operators, technicians, squad leaders and communications staff for the Swedish Home Guard and civilian operators for the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the Swedish Transport Administration and the Svenska Kraftnät (the Swedish electricity and natural gas transmission system operator). Swedish Voluntary Flying Corps
The Swedish Volunteer Air Corps ( sv, Frivilliga Flygkåren, FFK) is a voluntary defence of some 2,400 members (2013) distributed throughout Sweden. The pilots receive their initial training either through privately funded pilot licenses , through the Armed Forces or with bigger schools. Pilots in the FFK perform on a voluntary basis, assignment for Swedish authorities and the Armed Forces. FFK's headquarters are located at Stockholm Västerås Airport. The FKK is part of Sweden's Total Defence policy, and as such operate in both civilian and military capacities. The aircraft used are largely externally privately owned or joint venture in the Swedish aviation clubs and consist mainly of general utility aircraft, such as the Cessna 172 and Piper PA-28.
