Sweden National Under-19 Speedway Team
The Sweden national under-19 speedway team is the national under-19 motorcycle speedway, speedway team of Sweden and is controlled by the SVEMO. The team has won the Team Speedway Junior European Championship once in 2008. Sweden has produced two Individual Speedway Junior European Championship, Individual U-19 European Champion - Antonio Lindbäck (2004) and Dennis Andersson (2010). Lindbäck won a bronze medal also, just like Daniel Davidsson, Fredrik Lindgren (speedway rider), Fredrik Lindgren and Robert Pettersson. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to . There are now both domestic and international competitions in a number of countries, including the Speedway World Cup, whilst the highest overall scoring individual in the Speedway Grand Prix events is pronounced the world champion. Freddie Eriksson
Freddie Ove Eriksson (born 23 April 1981 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. Career summary Eriksson began his British speedway career in 2001 with King’s Lynn with whom he had two relatively successful seasons scoring over 400 points in 71 appearances. In between he became the Swedish Under-21 Speedway Champion in 2002. In 2003, he joined Ipswich on loan late on in the season and made only 14 appearances. Eriksson’s parent club ( Oxford) recalled him for the end of the 2005 season but at the start of the 2006 season Eriksson was released after only 13 meetings. Eriksson started the 2007 season back at Oxford but once again he was unable to complete a full season in the UK after Oxford were forced to close down their Elite League team at the end of May due to financial problems. Krško (; german: Gurkfeld) is a town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the City municipality of Krško. The 2011 Team Speedway Junior European Championship was the fourth UEM Team Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final will be place on August 20 2011 in Lendava, Slovenia. Divišov
Divišov (german: Diwischau) is a market town in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,700 inhabitants. The 2010 Team Speedway Junior European Championship will be the third UEM Team Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final took place on 8 August 2010 in Divišov, Czech Republic.
