Swedeborg, Missouri
Swedeborg is an unincorporated community in northwestern Pulaski County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately five miles northeast of Richland on Route 133. History Swedeborg was platted in 1878, and named for the fact a large share of the first settlers were Swedish. A post office called Swedeborg has been in operation since 1881. Education Swedeborg is best known in Pulaski County for being the home of the Swedeborg R-III School District,
which is the county's last remaining K-8 district. Along with Laquey, Missouri, Laquey, it is one of only two unincorporated communities in Pulaski County to retain its own school district.

Interstate 44 In Missouri
Interstate 44 (I-44) in the US state of Missouri runs northeast from the Oklahoma state line near Joplin to I-70 in Downtown St. Louis. It runs for about in the state, and is the longest Interstate Highway in the state. Route description I-44 enters Missouri in Newton County at the eastern terminus of the Will Rogers Turnpike, south of the Kansas state line. The first interchange in Missouri is the eastern terminus of both U.S. Route 166 (US 166) and US 400. This highway next goes through southern Joplin and then begins to run concurrently with I-49/ US 71 at exit 11 just after entering Jasper County. Iberia is a city in southeast Miller County, Missouri, United States. The population was 736 at the 2010 census. History A post office called Iberia has been in operation since 1838. The community derives its name from the Iberian Peninsula perhaps via New Iberia, Louisiana. Iberia Academy and Junior College was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Waynesville is a city in and the county seat of Pulaski County, Missouri, United States. Its population was 5,406 at the 2020 census. Located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, it was one of the communities served by historic Route 66. History Waynesville was platted in 1839. The city was named for Anthony Wayne. Dixon is a city in northern Pulaski County, Missouri, United States, with a population of 1,549 at the time of the 2010 census. History Dixon was platted in 1869 at the time a railroad was extended through to the neighborhood and a post office bearing the name of the town has been in operation since that time.
