Swapnil Asnodkar
Swapnil Asnodkar (born 29 March 1984), is an Indian first-class cricketer. He is a hard hitting right-handed opening batsman with a relatively short stature of around 5'5. He played for Goa in first class cricket, and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. Domestic career He was the leading run-scorer for Goa in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, with 369 runs in six matches. Indian Premier League Playing for Rajasthan Royals, he scored 311 runs at a strike rate of 133.47. He formed a strong opening partnership with South African captain Graeme Smith. By the end of the tournament they had scored 418 runs together at an average of 59.71 – the highest of the tournament. Porvorim (pronounced ''Parvari '' ), is the ''De facto'' legislative and executive capital of the state of Goa, India, as both the Goa Legislative Assembly and Secretariat are functioning from the same complex in the region of Alto Porvorim in porvorim.(Alto – Portuguese word meaning high or upper). Graeme Craig Smith (born 1 February 1981) is a South African cricket commentator and former cricketer who played for South Africa in all formats. In 2003, he was appointed captain of the national team, taking over from Shaun Pollock. He held the position of test captain until his retirement in 2014. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Off Break
Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right-handed spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. Their normal delivery is an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, this is from his off side to the leg side (that is, towards the right-handed batsman, or away from a left-handed batsman).
