''Swann in Love'' ( French: ''Un amour de Swann'') is a section from the novel sequence ''In Search of Lost Time'' by the French writer Marcel Proust. The narrative is part of ''Swann's Way'', the first volume of ''In Search of Lost Time''. ''Un amour de Swann'' is about the love affair between Charles Swann Charles Frederick Swann (6 August 1883 – 7 March 1960) was an English cricketer. Swann was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-pace. He was born at Leyton, Essex. Swann made a single first-class appearance for Essex in 19 ... and Odette.
