Svit Sešlar
Svit Sešlar (born 9 January 2002) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Turkish Süper Lig club Eyüpspor. Career Sešlar grew up in Slovenske Konjice and started his career with local side Dravinja, and later also played youth football for Aluminij, Celje and Drava Ptuj. In early 2019, he signed for Slovenian top flight side Olimpija Ljubljana. He made his Slovenian PrvaLiga debut for Olimpija on 14 February 2021 in a 2–0 victory over Mura. In January 2022, he extended his contract with the club until 2026. Personal life Sešlar is the son of Simon Sešlar, a former Slovenian international footballer. He has two sisters, Hana and Lina. Maribor ( , , , ; also known by other #Name, historical names) is the second-largest city in Slovenia and the largest city of the traditional region of Styria (Slovenia), Lower Styria. 2022–23 Slovenian Football Cup
The 2022–23 Slovenian Football Cup was the 32nd edition of the football knockout competition in Slovenia. The tournament began in August 2022 and ended on 6 May 2023 with the final. This was the first edition of the cup tournament in a new format, where a total of 120 teams participated in the first round. Koper were the defending champions after winning their fourth cup title the previous season. Olimpija Ljubljana won the cup after defeating their rivals Maribor 2–1 after extra time in the final. The winners should have qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. However, as Olimpija already qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League through the domestic league, the place was given to Celje, the second-placed team of the 2022–23 Slovenian PrvaLiga.
