Sveti Nikole
Sveti Nikole ( mk, Свети Николе ; meaning ''Saint Nicholas''; rup, San Nicole) is a town in North Macedonia. It is the seat of Sveti Nikole Municipality and a center of a plain called Ovče Pole (''Plain of sheep''), famous for sheep farming, lamb meat, and dairy products of all kinds. History According to legend, the town was named after the church of Saint Nicholas (''Sveti Nikola''), built in the beginning of the 14th century. It is said to have been the biggest of all 42 churches in this area at its time. The former settlement of ''Arbanaško'', itself derived from ''Arbanas'' (an old South Slavic ethonym for Albanians), is in present-day Sveti Nikole, suggesting either direct linguistic contact with Albanians or the former presence of an assimilated Albanian community. Sheep
Sheep or domestic sheep (''Ovis aries'') are domesticated, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Although the term ''sheep'' can apply to other species in the genus ''Ovis'', in everyday usage it almost always refers to domesticated sheep. Kiril Lazarov
Kiril Lazarov ( mk, Кирил Лазаров, born 10 May 1980) is a retired Macedonian handball player and current coach of the North Macedonia national handball team and RK Alkaloid. Lazarov holds the record for most goals scored in a single World Men's Handball Championship (92). He is also the all-time top scorer in the EHF Champions League and the only player to have scored more than 1,300 goals. He is regarded as one of the greatest handball players of all time. Lazar Koliševski
Lazar Koliševski ( mk, Лазар Колишевски ; 12 February 1914 – 6 July 2000) was a Yugoslav communist political leader in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia and briefly in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He was closely allied with Josip Broz Tito. Early years Koliševski was born in Sveti Nikole, Kingdom of Serbia in 1914. He was from a poor farmer family. Little is known about his parents. Macedonian Third Football League
The Macedonian Third League ( mk, Македонска Трета Лига - Makedonska Treta Liga) is the third highest football competition in North Macedonia. In 2019–20, the competition will be divided into five divisions named Third League - North (Трета Лига - Север), Third League - Center (Трета Лига - Центар), Third League - Southeast (Трета Лига - Југоисток), Third League - West (Трета Лига - Запад) and Third League - Southwest (Трета Лига-Југозапад). FK Ovče Pole ( mk, ФК Овче Поле) is a football club from Sveti Nikole, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Third League (East Division). According to the last census from 2002, there were 53,879 people counted as Romani, the majority are Muslim Romani people in what is now North Macedonia, or 2.66% of the population. Another 3,843 people have been counted as "Egyptians" (0.2%). One of the majority group are the Arlije, and Gurbeti.
