Sven Mijnans
Sven Mijnans (born 9 March 2000) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club AZ. Club career Mijnans played in the academy of VV Spijkenisse. After experiences at Sparta Rotterdam and Feyenoord, he joined the academy of ADO Den Haag aged 16. However, he returned to VV Spijkenisse a year later. He made his Derde Divisie debut in February 2018. Sparta Rotterdam Mijnans joined Sparta Rotterdam in May 2018. At the start of the season, he had training sessions with the second team, but played most of his matches at under 19 level. He made his Tweede Divisie debut for the second team in November 2018. During the second half of the season, he was a regular starter for the second team. He was included in the match squad for the first team seven times at the end of his first season at Sparta Rotterdam as the club won promotion to the Eredivisie through the play-offs. Spijkenisse
Spijkenisse () is a city in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Following an administrative reform in 2015, it is part of the municipality of Nissewaard, and has a population of 72,500. It covers an area of of which is water. It is part of the Greater Rotterdam area. History Archaeological evidence suggests that the area around Spijkenisse has been inhabited for several thousand years. The area's prehistoric inhabitants depended on fishing in the Maas and hunting in the surrounding swamps for sustenance. Spijkenisse also has an anthem, the song is called "Spijkenisse" by Rik Hoogendoorn. The song was released in 2012 and is very popular amongst people who live in Spijkenisse. The oldest known reference to the name ''Spickenisse'' is in a source from 1231. Spijkenisse is a portmanteau of the words ' ( spit) and ''nesse'' (nose) meaning "pointy nose." The GelreDome () is a football stadium in the city of Arnhem, Netherlands. It is one of the largest and most modern stadiums in the country, built from 1996 to 1998 at a cost equivalent to €75 million, that opened on 25 March 1998. Gibraltar National Under-21 Football Team
The Gibraltar national under-21 football team represents Gibraltar in football competitions at under-21 level and is controlled by the Gibraltar Football Association. It is a full member of FIFA and is therefore eligible to enter any FIFA-sanctioned tournaments. 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification
The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-21 football competition to determine the 14 teams that would be joining the automatically qualified co-hosts Romania and Georgia in the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final tournament. Apart from Romania and Georgia, all remaining 53 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 2000 are eligible to participate. Erwin van de Looi (born 25 February 1972) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Netherlands U21 team. Playing career Van de Looi played in the youth academies of RKHVV and Vitesse 1892 and made his professional debut for second-tier Eerste Divisie club BVV Den Bosch in 1992 as a loanee. After a season, in which he made few appearances, van de Looi was given an opportunity to play by Vitesse head coach Herbert Neumann. Van de Looi impressed and made 30 appearances in his first full season at the club. He would eventually make 133 appearances for Vitesse, whom he also represented in 10 UEFA Cup matches. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds.
