Svein Dag Hauge
Svein Dag Hauge (born 23 October 1956 in Årdal, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (guitar) and record producer, known from the band Lava and numerous recordings as a studio musician. Career His early career began in Olav Stedje Band «Compact» (1973). In addition, he has been a key producer for such Olav Stedje, contributed with Jahn Teigen, Trond-Viggo Torgersen, Dollie de Luxe, Marius Müller, Randi Hansen, Ketil Stokkan, Bobbysocks, Torhild Nigar, Hilde Heltberg and Tre Busserulls. Recently, he has been responsible for productions at Den Norske Opera (''Izzat'', 2006). In 1986, he produced the album A Matter of Attitude by Danish heavy rockers Fate. Årdal is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located at the end of the Årdalsfjorden in the traditional district of Sogn. The village of Årdalstangen is the administrative center of the municipality. The other main village is Øvre Årdal. The municipality of Årdal was created in 1863 when it was separated from the municipality of Lærdal. Årdal is a modern industrial community, with ties to the old society of farming and fishing. Randi Hansen
Randi Hansen (born 24 November 1958, in Tromsø) is a Norwegian pop singer who formerly lived in Harstad, where she had a background as a music teacher at Heggen videregÃ¥ende skole. She was most active in the 1980s, and is best known for the song "Hvis æ fikk være sola di", which is on her debut album, ''Ho Randi''. This sold 80,000 copies. She released six solo albums before she took a pause in her career and raised a family,Kurt Bakkemoen: ''Familien har kommet i første rekke''. Anita Skorgan (born 13 November 1958) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. She represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in (14th), (11th) and with Jan Teigen in (12th). The Gammleng Award ( no, Gammleng-prisen) is a Norwegian culture award created by ''The Fund for Performing Artists'' in 1982, 25 years after the fund was established in 1957. Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. ''A Matter of Attitude'' is the second album by Danish rock band Fate, released in 1986. The album was in the hook-filled melodic hard rock/pop metal vein, featuring tight vocal harmonies over a strong rhythm section, guitar, and sweeping synthesizer. Stylistically it was like Europe with a bit more bite. "Won't Stop" was the album's first single, and the track was also released in an extended 12" remix version. The album was almost entirely hard-driving rockers, without the power ballads of many other bands of the genre. Hilde Heltberg
Hilde Heltberg (30 September 1959 – 4 September 2011) was a Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in Oslo, Norway. Career Heltberg started her career in the late 70s when she entered a talent competition judged by Stein Ove Berg, who became her mentor. She later joined the band Uncle John's Band, and, in 1982, X-tra, with Trond Granlund. She released her first, self-titled, solo album in 1982, but found a more individual style in 1983 with ''På bare bein'' (On bare feet), produced by Jonas Fjeld. All in all Heltberg released 12 albums over the course of her career. She also participated in the Norwegian qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest three times as an artist: in 1980, 1984 and 1985, and as a songwriter in 2000.
