Suzi Analogue
Maya Shipman (born August 16, 1987), better known by her stage name Suzi Analogue, is an American recording artist, musician, and songwriter based in New York City. She is a former member of Klipmode alongside Mndsgn, Devonwho, & Knxwledge; with many collaborations between them during the rise of the international beatmaking culture. Suzi credits her name to the alter-ego of RZA, Bobby Digital, one of her favorite hip-hop producers. Her style fuses soul, hip-hop lyrics, and vocal processes characterized by synthesizers and electronic bass instruments. Chromat is an American fashion label based in New York City. The label was formed by Becca McCharen-Tran in 2010. Drawing from Becca McCharen-Tran's background in architecture and urban design, Chromat focuses on empowering garments for all bodies. About Chromat began in 2010 as an extension of McCharen-Tran's degree in architecture design at University of Virginia School of Architecture. It was originally a collaboration with fellow architecture student Emily Kappes. Chromat's structural language is the foundation of each garment: from the simplest bikini to the most complex 3D printed dress. Chromat swimwear, lingerie, and signature architectural cages are all designed in New York City. Gavin Christopher Tennille (born October 19, 1984), known as Quelle Chris, is an American record producer, rapper and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He has released over 15 albums as a solo act and with his collaborative projects. He has been described as a student of Detroit hip hop. Career Tennille was born in Johnson City, New York to a shoe designer. Tennille's career began expanding as he joined Wasted Youth and attracted the attention of hip hop recording artists in Detroit such as J Dilla and Proof. ''York'' (originally titled ''NoYork!'') is the second studio album by American rapper Blu. The album was initially leaked during the Rock The Bells tour in August 2011, and officially released in 2013. Background Blu was still under contract with Sire/Warner Bros in 2011, but as the LA Times noted "the slashing collection of songs was nowhere near commercial enough to ever see major label release". A few weeks later, Barnes was released from his Sire/Warner Bros. contract, although demo copies were pressed. Later officially released through New World Color on March 26, 2013.
