Você Decide
''Você Decide'' (''You Decide'' / ''It's Your Call'') was an interactive television program broadcast on the Brazilian TV network Rede Globo from 1992 to 2000. During each episode special cases were presented, and viewers would decide the ending through phone votes. Broadcast history ''Você Decide'' is the second longest-running series of Rede Globo, with nine seasons and 323 episodes. On March 11, 1999, the episode ''Mulher 2000'' had its finale shown only in the North and Northeast regions (along with portions of the Southeast and the Center-West regions) due to a blackout in Brazil and Paraguay in 1999 that greatly affected much of the country at the time of the show. In its final years, the program aired on Thursday nights shortly after ''Linha Direta''. The last episode aired on August 17, 2000. The following week, the program was replaced with the miniseries ''Aquarela do Brasil'' (Watercolors of Brazil). Brazilian soap opera stars participated in the episodes, with s ...

Por Amor (1997 TV Series)
''Por Amor'' (English: ''Anything For Love'') is a Brazilian telenovela created by Manoel Carlos, starring Regina Duarte and Gabriela Duarte in the main roles. It replaced ''A Indomada'' and preceded ''Torre de Babel'', and was the 55th telenovela to be aired by TV Globo. Production "What would you be able to do for love?" it was the motto of the advertising campaign for the release of the novel. For the second time, Regina Duarte was a Helena de Manoel Carlos - the first out in História de Amor (Love History), in 1995. For the actress, even Por Amor would have been História de Amor 2 – because of the approach of the mother-daughter relationship. The actress's third Helena would come later, in Páginas da Vida (Pages of Life), in 2006. The name, used by the author in almost all of his novels since Baila Comigo (1981), has become a mark of style and gives unity to his work, creating a bond between the strong and charming "middle-class heroines" as he usually does. characteri ...

Sai De Baixo
''Sai de Baixo'' (a Brazilian Portuguese slang roughly translated as "get out of the way") is a Brazilian sitcom that first aired on Rede Globo from 1996 to 2002. It followed the lives of the members of a dysfunctional family, their maid and the doorman of the apartment building in which they lived. It ran for 7 seasons, from 1996 to 2002, on Sunday nights after the newsmagazine ''Fantástico''. That means that it always aired after 10:00 pm, which was necessary given the show's heavy language and sexual innuendos. In 2000, however, the premiere of a new reality show shifted the program to the 11:30 p.m. slot, which lasted for about four months. After that the timeslot varied almost monthly, which started to hurt ratings. At one time, the show was airing around 12:30 a.m., which is considered the beginning of the "wasteland" of late night programming in Brazilian television, with fewer viewers and, therefore, fewer sponsors. In 2013, Globo's sister cable channel ...
