SuttonBeresCuller is a Seattle-based art collective who create sculpture, drawing, site-specific installation and public art environments. The artists, John Sutton (born 1975 in Tacoma, WA, USA), Ben Beres (born 1976 in Akron, OH, USA) and Zac Culler (born 1977 in Boston, MA, USA) have been working collaboratively since graduating from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in 2000. GUSFORD
GUSFORD , los angeles is a contemporary art gallery located in Los Angeles, California, US. The gallery represents emerging and mid-career artists, both local and international. History GUSFORD , los angeles was founded in 2012 by artist and long-time collector Kelsey Lee Offield, and is dedicated to developing and nurturing emerging artists. The gallery program is built solely of solo artist presentations, where artists create and exhibit an entire body of work. GUSFORD opened in 2013 in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hollywood with an exhibition featuring the work of local artist Adam Mars. An artist collective is an initiative that is the result of a group of artists working together, usually under their own management, towards shared aims. The aims of an artist collective can include almost anything that is relevant to the needs of the artist; this can range from purchasing bulk materials, sharing equipment, space or materials, to following shared ideologies, aesthetic and political views or even living and working together as an extended family. The Seattle Art Museum (commonly known as SAM) is an art museum located in Seattle, Washington, United States. MASS MoCA
The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) is a museum in a converted Arnold Print Works factory building complex located in North Adams, Massachusetts. It is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. Built by the Arnold Print Works, which operated on the site from 1860 to 1942, the complex was used by the Sprague Electric company before its conversion. MASS MoCA originally opened with 19 galleries and of exhibition space in 1999. It has expanded since, including the 2008 expansion of Building 7 and the May 2017 addition of roughly 130,000 square feet when Building 6 was opened. A collective is a group of entities that share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest, or work together to achieve a common objective.
