Sushil Biswas
Sushil Biswas was an Indian politician from West Bengal belonging to All India Trinamool Congress. He was a legislator of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Biography Biswas was a primary school teacher. He was elected as a legislator of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly as a CPM candidate from Krishnahanj in 1992. He was also elected from this constituency in 1996 and 2001. Later, he joined Trinamool Congress. Krishnaganj is a village in the Krishnaganj CD block in the Krishnanagar Sadar subdivision of the Nadia district in the state of West Bengal, India. Geography Location Krishnaganj is located at . Area overview Nadia district is mostly alluvial plains lying to the east of Hooghly River, locally known as Bhagirathi. The alluvial plains are cut across by such distributaries as Jalangi, Churni and Ichhamati. With these rivers getting silted up, floods are a recurring feature. Satyajit Biswas ( 1981 – 9 February 2019) was an Indian politician from the state of West Bengal. He was a two term member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. He was shot dead on 9 February 2019 at the age of 37 after he was coming down at the podium of Saraswati puja.
