Susan Matheson is a costume designer who designed costumes for the films ''The Kingdom'', ''Friday Night Lights'', '' Blue Crush'', ''Crazy/Beautiful,'' ''Honey'', ''Panic'' and '' Best Laid Plans''. She has designed for three movies starring Will Ferrell - '' Step Brothers'', '' Semi-Pro'', and ''Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby''. She designed for the film '' Couples Retreat'' starring Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau which premiered in the fall of 2009. Biography Susan Matheson grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. Susan received her bachelor's degree from Vassar College and her BFA from Parsons School of Design where she received the "Designer of the year" award as well as design awards from Nike, Inc. and Bob Mackie. The Kingdom (film)
''The Kingdom'' is a 2007 action thriller film directed by Peter Berg and starring Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, and Jennifer Garner. The film is set in Saudi Arabia, and is based on the 1996 bombing of the Khobar housing complex, also on the 2004 Khobar massacre and the two 2003 bombings of four compounds in Riyadh. Victoria Baths
Victoria Baths is a Grade II* listed building, in the Chorlton-on-Medlock area of Manchester, in northwest England. The Baths opened to the public in 1906 and cost £59,144 to build. Manchester City Council closed the baths in 1993 and the building was left empty. A multimillion-pound restoration project began in 2007. As of 2009, the building is on English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register. History The baths were designed by the City Surveyor, T. de Courcy Meade, and his assistant, Arthur Davies. The work was supervised by Henry Price, the newly appointed city architect. The baths were opened in September 1906 by the Lord Mayor of Manchester who described the building as a "water palace". Nicole Blackman (born November 30, 1971) is a New York City–born performance artist, poet, author, and vocalist. Literary career Blackman is involved in the North American goth, spoken word, and transgressive literature scenes. Juliana Snapper
Juliana Snapper is an opera singer, voice researcher and artist. She received her B.M. in vocal performance from the Oberlin Conservatory where she studied under Richard Miller, and her M.A. in critical musicology at University of California, San Diego. Snapper creates performances and installations that push the physical and expressive capacities of the singing body. She combines radical vocal techniques, composition, improvisation, and intermedia dynamics alone and in collaboration. Ron Athey (born December 16, 1961) is an American performance artist associated with body art and with extreme performance art.
