Susan Hyatt
Susan Hyatt is an American singer, songwriter, and recording artist. She is the lead vocalist and co-founding member of the alternative pop-rock bands: Stimulator, Pillbox, Sizon & Glitter Symphony, and Sirens of Soho. Early life and career Hyatt was born in Seattle, Washington in 1967. In the 1980s, Susan was briefly a guitarist for the all-female band The Pandoras. In 1992, Hyatt released a dance version of Simon and Garfunkel's " The 59th Street Bridge Song" on WEA Records/Warner Music, which was produced by members of Kissing the Pink. In 1993, Hyatt formed grunge/punk/pop band Pillbox in London, with bassists Carrie Melbourne (Babylon Zoo) and Sean Harrington. Pillbox signed to Polygram/Universal Music. Two years later, Pillbox's debut single, "Invasion (What Really Turns You On?)", became a top 20 UK indie hit. Pillbox's music was licensed to several episodes of the TV series Dawson's Creek. New Wave Music
New wave is a loosely defined music genre that encompasses pop-oriented styles from the late 1970s and the 1980s. It was originally used as a catch-all for the various styles of music that emerged after punk rock, including punk itself. Later, critical consensus favored "new wave" as an umbrella term involving many popular music styles of the era, including power pop, synth-pop, ska revival, and more specific forms of punk rock that were less abrasive. Juliet Richardson (born January 1, 1980) is an American singer who performs under the mononym Juliet. She is best known for her 2005 album, ''Random Order'', and the single "Avalon". Early life A resident of Shamong Township, New Jersey, Richardson is a graduate of Life Center Academy in Burlington, New Jersey.
