Surender Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with ''Athanokkade'' (2005), which won him Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director. He later directed films such as ''Kick'' (2009)'', Oosaravelli'' (2011), ''Race Gurram'' (2014)'', Dhruva'' (2016), and ''Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'' (2019). He won SIIMA Award for Best Director – Telugu for ''Race Gurram.'' Early life Reddy was born and brought up in Machanapalli village of Karimnagar district, Telangana. Hailing from an affluent family, Reddy is fourth of six children. His father Veera Reddy worked as the Sarpanch of the village. Surender Mohan Pathak (born 19 February 1940 at Khemkaran, in Tarn Taran district near Amritsar, in the Majha region of Punjab) is an author of Hindi-language crime fiction with nearly 300 novels to his credit. His writing career, along with his full-time job in Indian Telephone Industries, Delhi, began in the early 1960s with his Hindi translations of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels and the works of James Hadley Chase. He also wrote his own James Bond series. His first short story, ''57 saal puraana aadmi'' (५७ साल पुराना आदमी, ''The Man 57 from Years Ago''), was published in a Hindi magazine ''Manohar Kahaniyaan'' (मनोहर कहानीयां) in 1959. His first full-length novel, Purane Gunah Naye Gunahgar (Sunil Series), was published in ''Neelam Jaasoos'' (a Hindi crime fiction magazine) in 1963. Surender Pal Singh is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Rajasthan. He was a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from the Karanpur constituency in Rajasthan from 2003 till 2008 and again from 2013 to 2018. He was Chairman Of Rajasthan Warehousing with Cabinet Rank in 1994. He also served as Minister of Agriculture (2003-2008) and Minister of Mines and Petroleum (2013-2018). He lost his seat in the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election to Gurmeet Singh Kooner of the Indian National Congress by a margin of 28,376 votes.
