Surat Metro
The Surat Metro is an under-construction rapid transit rail system for Surat in Gujarat state of India. Two corridors with a combined length of 40.35 kilometers are under construction since 18 January 2021. The project is expected to be completed by December 2027 at an estimated cost of . History In August 2012, the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) proposed four rail routes for the metro project. The Government of Gujarat approved two corridors in January 2017. The union government approved the project on 11 March 2019. It will be implemented by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited and it will be financed mainly through equity from Government of India and Government of Gujarat on 50:50 basis and loan from bilateral/ multilateral agencies. Diamond Research and Mercantile City, also known as DREAM City, is an upcoming business district in Surat, India. It will be built on of land near Khajod, along the lines of the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City and Dholera Smart city near Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Metro
Ahmedabad Metro is a rapid transit system for the cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar in Gujarat state of India. The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited was established in February 2010 and the long Phase–1 of the project was approved in October 2013 with two corridors, North–South and East–West. The construction started on 14 March 2015. A 6.5-km section of East–West corridor was inaugurated on 4 March 2019 and was opened to the public on 6 March 2019. The rest of the Phase–1 was inaugurated on 30 September 2022 and opened to public on 2 and 6 October 2022. The stations of Kankaria East, Sabarmati Railway Station and Thaltej Gam are not yet ready. Saroli is a small village near the Kausani hill station in Uttarakhand, India. It is from the city of Bageshwar. Location The village is connected by a light vehicle road with Almora-Kausani-Bageshwar Road at Kausani. The road is about 12 km due to large number of curves, but it is only about 7–10 km by the forest walk. It is about a 5–7 km road trip and a 10–11 km walking trip from the Garur.
