Supna Zaidi
Supna Syed Zaidi (also spelled Sapna Syed Zaidi) is a Pakistani born American journalist, lawyer, director of the Council for Democracy and Tolerance, assistant director of Islamist Watch at the Middle East Forum, and editor-in-chief of Muslim World Today and Pakistan Today. She is the deputy director of the Children's Rights Institute. In 1999, Zaidi received a B.A. in political theory and a B.A. in history of the Near East and Religion from the University of California, San Diego. In May 2003, she received a J.D. from New York Law School. After graduation from law school, Zaidi practiced family, deportation and asylum immigration law in New York and New Jersey. The Middle East Forum (MEF) is an American conservative think tank founded in 1990 by Daniel Pipes, who serves as its president. MEF became an independent non-profit organization in 1994. Muslims ( ar, المسلمون, , ) are people who adhere to Islam, a monotheistic religion belonging to the Abrahamic tradition. They consider the Quran, the foundational religious text of Islam, to be the verbatim word of the God of Abraham (or ''Allah'') as it was revealed to Muhammad, the main Islamic prophet. The majority of Muslims also follow the teachings and practices of Muhammad (''sunnah'') as recorded in traditional accounts (''hadith''). Tashbih Sayyed
Tashbih Sayyed (1941–2007) was a Pakistani-American scholar, journalist, and author and was the editor-in-chief of ''Our Times'', ''Pakistan Today'', and '' In Review''. Sayyed worked from 1967 to 1980 for the Pakistan Television Corporation. In 1981, he emigrated to the United States. As a regular columnist for newspapers in the US, Pakistan, Germany and India, Sayyed wrote about what he perceived as the Islamist threat to the US. In 2004 he was one of the founders of the Center for Islamic Pluralism. He was also founder of the websites ''Muslim World Today'' and ''Pakistan Today'' (not the Pakistani newspaper of the same name).
