New Zealand Superstock Championship
The New Zealand Superstock Championship is an annually contested national championship for superstocks on a rotating track schedule. The current champion is Asher Rees, registered to Kihikihi Speedway, who won his third consecutive title at Meeanee Speedway, near Napier, in January 2024. Graham Stretch was the inaugural champion, winning the title at Palmerston North International Speedway in the 1965/66 season. Craig Boote, Kevin Free and Asher Rees have been the most successful winners, each winning 3 times. New Zealand Superstock Teams Championship
The ''New Zealand Superstock Teams Championship'' is a 2-day event held annually at Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North, New Zealand. The event attracts crowds of 14,000 people on each day of the event, as they are entertained by up to 14 teams, all fighting with full-contact allowed for the ultimate New Zealand speedway crown. In 2018, the event gave the region a $5.2M economic boost, an estimated $1.5M up from 2017. Racing Superstocks racing allows for full contact, hardcore racing around oval dirt tracks with concrete walls in close proximity to the outside of the track. Drivers are entitled to push one another into the infield, up the wall or into one another in the fight for victory. World 240 Invitational Superstock Championship
The World 240 Invitational Superstock Championship is an annually hosted championship held at Paradise Valley Speedway in Rotorua, New Zealand. Contested with drivers often from the United Kingdom, Netherlands, America and New Zealand the championship winner shall be invited to compete in the BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Cars World Championship along with the winner of the New Zealand Superstock Championship in a fully funded campaign. The current champion is Ethan Rees from gisborne who won in 2023 The titles is unique to other superstocks racing championships with the 240s event allowing for a number of drivers to become pre-qualified to the finals field of 26 drivers. Central Energy Trust Arena
Central Energy Trust Arena is the current name of the 180,000 square metre publicly owned recreational complex just west of the Palmerston North city centre in the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand. It has three linked indoor stadiums, with movable tiered seating. Outdoor facilities include football fields and a speedway track with grandstand.
