"Superman" (also sometimes titled as "I'm No Superman") is a song by American band Lazlo Bane from their album '' All the Time in the World''. It is most noted for being the theme song to the American TV series '' Scrubs''. Background and release "Superman" was first released on the soundtrack album for the film ''The Tao of Steve'' in 2000, a year prior to its first appearance in ''Scrubs'', though it was not featured in the film itself. Zach Braff, the star of ''Scrubs'', was impressed by the song and suggested the use of the song as the theme to executive producer Bill Lawrence. ''Scrubs'' proved to be successful and "Superman" was later issued on the first show soundtrack and as a promotional single. Lazlo Bane is an alternative rock band from Santa Monica, California, United States. They are well known for collaborating with former Men at Work member Colin Hay, and providing the song "Superman (Lazlo Bane song), Superman" as the theme for the television show ''Scrubs (TV series), Scrubs''. Background Formation and early years The band's origin can be traced back to the efforts of Chad Fischer touring with School of Fish in the early 1990s as a drummer. Scrubs (season 9)
The ninth and final season of the American comedy television series '' Scrubs'' (also known as ''Scrubs: Med School'') premiered on ABC on December 1, 2009, and concluded on March 17, 2010, and consists of 13 episodes. This season marked a major change in the series; it takes place at a different location and only three of the seven main characters from the first eight seasons remained as regular main characters. The rest of the cast is made up of new recruits, including Lucy, played by Kerry Bishé, who is also the show's new narrator. Former star Zach Braff returned for six episodes of the season.
