''Superia'' is an adventure game based on '' Adventure Rock'' and '' Ketnetkick'' launched January 2009 by NRK. In the game players could meet KIM, a multifunctional droide-friend, who guided them through the game. The game was shut down on 15 April 2011. ''Superia'' has since the autumn 2009 also been seen on NRK's TV channel for children, NRK Super as a weekend game tips and entertainment for children in the age of 6–12 years. ''Adventure Rock'' (previously known as ''CBBC World'') was a virtual online world for children based on Ketnetkick,''Adventure Rock'' Credits, found within the game interface and created by the BBC in association with Ketnet, owned and operated by the Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep (VRT), Flanders' public broadcaster. The game was originally aimed at the Belgian market, but was redeveloped for a UK audience of children aged between 6–12 years old. The emphasis on the system was on safety and responsibility, with no chatrooms or the financial aspects available in other online worlds such as Linden Lab's ''Second Life''. NRK Super is a Norwegian TV & radio channel aimed at children, run by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The TV channel is broadcast on the digital terrestrial network, on the same frequency as NRK3 from 7am to 7pm, and was launched 1 December 2007. The NRK Super radio channel is broadcast on DAB radio (from 6am to 9pm) and the internet, and was originally named NRK Barn (''NRK Children'' in English). It was launched on 16 October 2007.
