Superficial (album)
''Superficial'' is the debut studio album by American television personality Heidi Montag. The project was released digitally on January 11, 2010, through Pratt Productions and Warner Music Group. Montag first began working on an album in 2007, having rose to fame through her appearances on the MTV television series '' The Hills''. She enlisted a number of notable writers and producers for the project, hoping to achieve a quality record despite the backing of a major label. The end product was a pop album inspired by artists such as Britney Spears. It lyrically discussed topics such as love and partying, as well as poking fun at Montag's own reputation at the time. The album experienced numerous setbacks during its production, with several songs meant for the project leaking throughout the years prior to its release. Heidi Montag
Heidi Blair Pratt (née Montag; born September 15, 1986) is an American reality television personality, model, singer and actress. Born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado. In 2006, Montag came to prominence after being cast in the MTV reality television series '' The Hills'', which chronicled the personal and professional lives of Conrad, Montag, and friends Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port. During its production, she briefly attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and was employed by event planning company Bolthouse Productions. The uptempo dance-pop song is lyrically about going to a club with friends and receiving attention from men. The song debuted at number 50 on ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Songs chart in July 2009 and peaked at number 27, becoming Montag's first and only charting single to date. Music and lyrics "More is More" is an uptempo dance-pop song that makes heavy use of synthesizers, especially the auto-tune software to alter Montag's voice.
