Super Records
Super Records Ltd. is a British independent record label, owned and operated by the English band McFly. Formation McFly's debut album was released on Island Records in 2004. ''Room on the 3rd Floor'' went to number one, making them the youngest UK group to do so since The Beatles. However, after an issue involving creative differences, McFly parted ways with Island Records and set up their own label, Super Records Ltd. McFly insist the parting from Universal was amicable but that they wanted to be in complete creative control. Distribution Everything that Super Records Ltd. produced before 2010 was distributed by other major labels in different countries. This was before McFly re-signing with Universal Island Records as part of a 50/50 deal, therefore making Universal worldwide distributors of Super Records releases. James Bourne
James Elliot Bourne (born 13 September 1983) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is known as the co-founder of pop punk bands Busted and Son of Dork, and he also created his own electronic project: Future Boy. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of McBusted, which consisted of himself, Busted bandmate Matt Willis, and McFly. Personal life Bourne was born in Rochford, Essex to Peter and Maria Bourne and moved to Southend-on-Sea at age ten months. He has a sister named Melissa and two brothers named Nick and Chris. Bourne attended the independent fee-paying Thorpe Hall School in Southend-on-Sea. Bourne plays electric guitar, piano, drums and bass guitar. Bourne claims that he is still good friends with Matt Willis and on good terms with Charlie Simpson and have since reformed, releasing two new albums. "Shine a Light" is the second single from English band McFly's fifth studio album, ''Above the Noise''. The single features vocals from singer Taio Cruz. The single was released on 7 November 2010 via digital download, with a physical release following the next day. A free download was available for members of the band's new website, SuperCity. The song received mostly positive reviews from pop music critics. On 3 November 2010, the song was added to BBC Radio 1's A-List. The song peaked the number 9 in UK Airplay Chart. "Party Girl" is a song by British pop rock band McFly. It was released as the lead single from their fifth studio album, ''Above the Noise'' (2010). The song premiered on UK radio on 14 July 2010 on In:Demand, and was released on 5 September 2010, where it debuted at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart; marking the band's sixteenth Top 10 single to date. "Falling in Love" is the fourth and final single taken from British pop rock band McFly's fourth studio album, '' Radio:Active''. On 29 April 2009, the song was added to BBC Radio 1's C-List and BBC Radio 2's B-List. In the UK, "Falling in Love" was released to promote the '' Radio:Active'' DVD. In Brazil, the song was released officially on 7 May. An iTunes bundle, consisting of the Radio Edit and Music Video, was released on 10 May 2009. "Lies" is the fifteenth single from British pop rock band, McFly, released on 15 September 2008. "Lies" did not feature on the promotional 10-track copy of the album '' Radio:Active'' which was given away in ''The Mail on Sunday'' in July 2008, however it features as one of the four additional tracks on the retail edition of the album, which was released on 22 September 2008. The lead vocals for the song are split between band members Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, with vocal contributions from bassist Dougie Poynter. Upon release, the song reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 1 on the Scottish Singles Chart. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. European Top 100 Albums
The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old. If an album older than 18 months had enough sales to enter the 200 chart after having already dropped out of the 100th position, it would chart on The ''U.S. Billboard'' Catalog Albums. Later ''Billboard'' reviewed the criteria and decided the older albums would also be allowed to chart in the 200, as it should show what's being sold.
