Super C Season
''Super C Season'' is the second studio album by Nigerian rap artist, Naeto C. It was released on February 7, 2011, and is available for download on iTunes. Singles The album has spawned four singles. The first single "Ako Mi Ti Poju" was released on September 8, 2009. Although the version released features simply the rapper, the version of the song seen on the album is an extended version, which features late Nigerian rapper "Dagrin". The song "Duro", which features artist "YQ", is the second single off the album and it was released on November 20, 2009. The track is an up-tempo party song which has Naeto C delivering three different verses and YQ lending his voice to sing the chorus. The third single released off the album "Ten over Ten" was released on August 16, 2010. It is like the latter an up-tempo party track but this time sees the rapper delivering his verses but as well singing its chorus. Naeto C
Naetochukwu Chikwe, stage name Naeto C, is a Nigerian rapper, Afrobeat artist and record producer. Early life He was born in Houston, Texas and is of Nigerian origin. The Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha appointed Naeto C, as his Special Assistant on Lagos Liaison. Education After finishing his secondary education in Lagos, he moved to the United States for higher education both in SUNY Old Westbury and a year later, George Washington University. It was at this time that he met Uzikwendu and Ikechukwu, who was then an aspiring hip-hop artist out of Washington Heights, New York. The Headies (originally called the Hip Hop World Awards) is a music awards show established in 2006 by the ''Hip Hop World Magazine'' of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. The annual ceremony features performances by established and promising artists. It is broadcast live on HipTV to viewers across Nigeria. The 1st and The Headies 2007, 2nd editions of The Headies were held at the Muson Center in Onikan, Lagos State. Aituaje Iruobe, known professionally as Waje, which is the first letter from each word from the phrase "Words Aren't Just enough" is a Nigerian singer. She first gained recognition after being featured on the remake of P-Square’s "Omoge Mi". Waje was also featured on the duo's 2008 hit track "Do Me". The Headies 2012
The Headies 2012 was the 7th edition of The Headies (known as the Hip Hop World Awards until the 6th edition). It was hosted by M.I and Omawumi. The ceremony took place on 20 October 2012, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The aforementioned hosts thrilled fans with their song titled "The Headies". Chidinma opened the show by performing her song "Kedike". The Okoye brothers (Peter, Paul, and Jude) won a total of three awards. The Artiste of the Year award went to Wizkid. Tiwa Savage and Wande Coal won the Best Male and Female Vocal Performance categories, respectively. Vector won the Best Rap Single and Lyricist on the Roll plaques for "Angeli".
