Supamas Sangchan
Supamas Sangchan ( th, สุภมาส แสงจันทร์; born 2 April 1996) is a Thai professional golfer playing on the China LPGA Tour. As an amateur, she won a gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in the women's team event with Budsabakorn Sukapan and Benyapa Niphatsophon and another bronze medal in the women's individual event. In 2016, Sangchan captured her first Ladies European Tour title at the Sanya Ladies Open in China. Early life and amateur career Sangchan was born on 2 April 1996 in Sukhothai, Thailand. She started playing golf at the age of eight. Sangchan competed at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon and won the first ever gold medal in golf for Thailand in the women's team event with Budsabakorn Sukapan and Benyapa Niphatsophon. Ladies Asian Golf Tour
The Ladies Asian Golf Tour is a women's professional golf tour that was established as the Ladies Asia Golf Circuit in 1983 and known as the Kosaido Ladies Asia Golf Circuit 1987–2004 for sponsorship reasons. The tour was sanctioned by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation since its inception as an official Asian ladies' tour. By 2005 there were five established women's professional tours in the world, of which two were in Asia, namely the LPGA of Japan Tour and the LPGA of Korea Tour. Caroline Hedwall
Caroline Ingrid Hedwall (born 13 May 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. In 2013 she became the first player to win five matches in a single Solheim Cup event. As an amateur she was a dominating player, winning the European Ladies Amateur Championship as well as the individual titles at both the Espirito Santo Trophy and the NCAA Championship. The Queen Sirikit Cup, officially the Asia-Pacific Amateur Ladies Golf Team Championship, is an annual amateur team golf championship for women organised by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation. The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. Not originally a major on the LPGA Tour, it became an LPGA co-sanctioned event in 2000, which included a significant increase in purse size. The purse was increased from $4.1 million to $4.5 million effective with the 2021 event. The 2022 event saw an increase in the purse to $6.5 million, with the winner earning $1 million.
