Sunfish (musical)
Sunfish is a Musical theatre, musical with book and lyrics by Michael Cooper and book and music by Hyeyoung Kim, based upon the Korean folktale Sim-Chung. The musical received its world premiere production at the Stoneham Theater in Boston, Massachusetts from February 10 to February 27, 2011 and went on to international acclaim, opening at the Daegu International Music Theater Festival in South Korea on June 17 to June 23, 2013 where it was awarded Top Jury Honor. Synopsis “Sunfish” is a musical retelling of the Sim-Chung Korean folk tale which follows the journey of a devoted daughter trying to help her blind father regain his eyesight - and the valiant sacrifices she is willing to make for love. Korea
Korea ( ko, 한국, or , ) is a peninsular region in East Asia.
