Sunehray Din
''Sunehray Din'' is a coming of age Pakistani television series produced and directed by Shoaib Mansoor and Mohsin Ali under Shoman Productions. The series was co-produced by ISPR. It ran on Pakistan Television Corporation in 1991. The series stars Saleem Sheikh, Mumtaz Musharraf and Alia Kazmi in leading roles and revolves around the lives of the young cadets of Pakistan Military Academy. Plot The story revolves around the character of Safeer; who lives a carefree life with his single mother and his grandfather. His mother is worried about his future but Safeer tends to take things lightly. Things do take a turn when Safeer decides to join Army. His overprotective mother first disagree but seeing the passion of his son towards military decides to let him join. Rest of the story depicts the life of Safeer in Kakul Academy, his training, his friendships and his rivalries. His love relation with a girl creates neighbour rivalry. Shoaib Mansoor
Shoaib Mansoor (Full name, Shoaib Mansoor), ( ur, ; born 4 February 1951 Karachi) is a Pakistani television and film director, writer, producer, lyricist and musician of Muhajir origin. Active in the television industry since 1980, he first found success for composing and writing the song Dil Dil Pakistan in 1987, thereby introducing Vital Signs musical band in mainstream Pakistani television. He was also well-recognised for directing many critically acclaimed hit drama series on Pakistani television. He became internationally known and popular for directing TV shows including the 1982 classic ''Ankahi,'' comedy series ''Fifty Fifty'' (1980) and the travel documentary show , Gulls and Guys which was sponsored by the John Player Gold Leaf company and which was a commercial success reality show, and the military fiction series, ''Alpha Bravo Charlie'' (1998). Saleem Sheikh
Saleem Sheikh ( ur, ) (also spelled Saleem Shaikh) is a Pakistani film and television actor. He made his on-screen debut from PTV's ''Shama'' where he portrayed the younger version of Jawed Sheikh's character. He then appeared as child artist in PTV's children plays. He is best known for portraying GC Safeer in Shoaib Mansoor's military drama '' Sunehray Din''. Sheikh made his film debut in 1992 with ''Mohabbat Ke Saudagar''. His career saw a resurgence in 2010 when he played Abdul Hameed "Midu" in ''Anokha Ladla'' and in its sequels in the following years. Pakistan Military Academy
Pakistan Military Academy ( ur, ), also referred to by its acronym PMA. PMA is an officers training school located near Kakul village in the city and district of Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa established in 1947. It is the sole service academy in Pakistan tasked with transforming cadets into Army Officers. For educational training, the institution is accredited by NUST. Cadets have to go through 2 years of rigorous military training until they can finally be termed an Officer. Pakistan Military Academy provides training to Gentlemen Cadets (Officer Cadets) of Pakistan Army and Allied countries. The academy has four training battalions, and 16 companies. ''Alpha Bravo Charlie'' (Urdu: الفا براوو چارلی) is an action and thriller Pakistani drama, produced by ISPR and directed by Pakistani drama and film director Shoaib Mansoor. It is a sequel to 1991 TV series '' Sunehray Din'' ''(Golden Days)'' with somewhat different cast. The series ran on PTV from May till July 1998.
