Sunday Night (Australian TV Program)
''Sunday Night'' was an Australian news and current affairs program produced and broadcast by the Seven Network. The program aired on Sunday nights and was hosted by Melissa Doyle. It premiered on Sunday 8 February 2009. History ''Sunday Night'' was a newsmagazine show, featuring a mix of feature stories, investigative reports, forums and interviews. Unlike other newsmagazine programs, the show initially featured a live studio audience. Additionally, early episodes of the show were immediately followed by a companion program, ''The All in Call'', a live question and answer session broadcast on Seven HD and online. The separate program was later axed, and the discussion was integrated into the final segment of ''Sunday Night''. The axing of ''The All In Call'' also saw the removal of the studio audience, while later seasons dropped the final segment discussion altogether. 576i is a standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/ SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. The ''576'' identifies a vertical resolution of 576 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an interlaced resolution. Denham Hitchcock
Denham Hitchcock is an Australian journalist and broadcaster. He is perhaps best known for his work with the Seven Network where he was a senior reporter for '' Sunday Night'' and '' 7NEWS Spotlight''. In January 2023, Hitchcock announced he had resigned from Seven. Career Hitchcock started his media career as a junior researcher for Channel 7’s current affairs program, ''Today Tonight'', in 1994. Derryn Hinch
Derryn Nigel Hinch (born 9 February 1944) is a New Zealand-born media personality, politician, actor, journalist and published author. He is best known for his career in Australia, on Melbourne radio and television. He served as a Senator for Victoria from 2016 to 2019. Hinch was elected to the Senate representing Victoria as the head of Derryn Hinch's Justice Party at the 2016 federal election. Kerri-Anne Kennerley
Kerri-Anne Kennerley (née Wright; born 22 September 1953) is an Australian television and radio presenter, actress and singer. Kylie Gillies (born 4 May 1967) is Australian television presenter for the Seven Network, based in Sydney, Australia. Gillies is the co-host of '' The Morning Show'' with Larry Emdur. Mark Skaife
Mark Skaife (born 3 April 1967) is a retired Australian motor racing driver. Skaife is a five-time champion of the V8 Supercar Championship Series, including its predecessor, the Australian Touring Car Championship, as well as a six-time Bathurst 1000 winner. Mark Riley is an Australian journalist, who is Political Editor for ''Seven News'' based in Canberra.
