Sumly Chan
Sumly Chan Yuen-sum (born 23 March 1958 in Hong Kong) is a social worker and politician in Hong Kong, a member of the Civic Party, the chairman and the member of Tsuen Wan District Council ( Lei Muk Shue East). He has served as district councillor in Tsuen Wan since 1985 and is one of the Hong Kong district councillors with the longest years of service. Political Life Democratic Party In 2003, Chan claimed the name of "" headed by Albert Chan to take part in the District Council election, and renewed the seat successfully. In 2004, he joined Hong Kong Democratic Party and partnered with Lee Wing-tat, the former chairman of the Democratic Party to participate in the 2004 Hong Kong legislative election, but failed to enter the Legislative Council. The Tsuen Wan District Council () is the district council of Hong Kong, district council for the Tsuen Wan District in Hong Kong. It is one of 18 such councils. The Tsuen Wan District Council currently consists of 21 members, of which the district is divided into 19 constituencies, electing a total of 19 with 2 ''ex officio'' members who is the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee, Tsuen Wan and Ma Wan rural committee chairmen. Fernando Cheung
Fernando Cheung Chiu-hung (; born 23 February 1957 in Macau) is a Hong Kong politician, the vice-chairman of the Labour Party, and a former member of the Legislative Council. Career Cheung obtained his undergraduate degree in social work from Hong Kong Baptist University. He worked in the United States from 1988, and became a naturalized United States citizen. He obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, and a Ph.D. degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 while serving as the head of the Oakland Chinese Community Council. One of his grandparents was born in Peru. On moving back to Hong Kong in 1996, he became a lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Leung Yiu-chung
Leung Yiu-chung (, born 19 May 1953) is a Hong Kong politician. He is a member of the pro-labour Neighbourhood and Worker's Service Centre, part of the pan-democracy camp, and a former long-time member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. He represented the New Territories West geographical constituency between 1998 and 2016, and the District Council (Second) functional constituency between 2016 and 2020. Leung has also been a member of the Kwai Tsing District Council since 1985. Early career Leung received his Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of Essex and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Hong Kong.
