Sum 41
Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario. Originally called Kaspir, the band was formed in 1996 and currently consists of Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Dave Baksh (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason "Cone" McCaslin (bass, backing vocals), Tom Thacker (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals), and Frank Zummo (drums, percussion, occasional backing vocals). In 1999, Sum 41 signed an international record deal with Island Records and released its first EP, ''Half Hour of Power'', in 2000. The band released its debut album, ''All Killer No Filler'', in 2001. The album achieved mainstream success with its first single, "Fat Lip", which reached number one on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart and remains the band's most successful single to date. Aquarius Records (Canada)
Aquarius Records is an independent record label based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. History Aquarius Records was founded in 1969. The first president was Terry Flood and the other founding owners were Donald Tarlton, Bob Lemm, Dan Lazare and Jack Lazare. The label was initially distributed by London Records of Canada. Among the first acts signed to the label was the Halifax band April Wine, who had also worked with Much Productions. Other artists developed by Aquarius during their first decade included Montreal's Walter Rossi and a rock band from Windsor, Ontario called Teaze. While still with London, Aquarius released records by Mashmakhan, Freedom North, Ross Holloway, Roger Doucet, The Rabble and others. ''13 Voices'' is the sixth studio album by Canadian Rock music, rock band Sum 41, released on October 7, 2016. It is the first Sum 41 album to be released through independent label Hopeless Records after the band fulfilled their contract with major label Island Records. It is also Sum 41's first album to feature drummer Frank Zummo, who replaced original drummer Steve Jocz, and their first album to feature guitarist Tom Thacker (musician), Tom Thacker. The album also features the return of longtime lead guitarist Dave Baksh (who left in 2006 and returned in 2015). The album is also their first as a five-piece band, as it features both Baksh and Thacker on lead guitar. ''Screaming Bloody Murder'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on March 29, 2011, after many delays. It is the band's second album produced by frontman Deryck Whibley. It is the band's last album to be released on Island Records before they had fulfilled their contract with the major label in 2016 and their first album not to be released on Aquarius Records, which they left in 2010. The album has received mixed reviews. It is the last album to be released with longtime original drummer, Steve Jocz before he announced his departure from the band in April 2013. Even though new guitarist Tom Thacker was already a part of the band and co-wrote the title track of the album, all guitars were still recorded by singer Deryck Whibley. ''Underclass Hero'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It is the first of two albums by the band recorded without guitarist Dave Baksh since he left a year earlier to focus on Brown Brigade. The album was recorded as a three-piece. It was first released on July 18, 2007, in Japan by Island Records and distributed worldwide by Aquarius Records. There are no photos of the band inside the liner notes, though the front cover features a monochrome image of vocalist Deryck Whibley spitting in a hallway. In comparison to the heavy metal-inspired punk style of ''Chuck'', ''Underclass Hero ''marked a return to the band’s signature pop-punk sound. ''Chuck'' is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. The album was released on October 12, 2004. It is the band's last album to feature guitarist Dave Baksh as he left Sum 41 on May 11, 2006, to pursue his career with his own band Brown Brigade. This is the final album to feature the full classic lineup (Baksh, Deryck Whibley, Cone McCaslin and Steve Jocz). Baksh returned in 2015, but Frank Zummo replaced Jocz that same year. ''Chuck'' peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 10 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, making it the band's highest-charting album until it would be surpassed by ''Underclass Hero'' in 2007. The album's title is named after a volunteer UN peacekeeper named Chuck Pelletier who was in the Democratic Republic of the Congo where Sum 41 was filming a documentary for War Child Canada. Does This Look Infected?
''Does This Look Infected?'' is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was released on November 26, 2002. It is their only album to feature a Parental Advisory label on the cover, despite the fact that other albums by the band also feature profanity. It was released in both explicit and edited versions. Music, lyrics and composition The album is a lot more aggressive, darker and heavier than Sum 41's previous studio album, ''All Killer No Filler''. It also has fewer elements of pop music than ''All Killer No Filler''. Described as heavy metal, horror punk, punk rock, pop punk, and melodic hardcore, the album uses elements of heavy metal, hardcore punk, thrash metal, d-beat and, on the song "Thanks for Nothing", hip hop. Chūō, Tokyo
is a Special wards of Tokyo, special ward that forms part of the heart of Tokyo, Japan. The ward refers to itself in English as Chūō City.
