Sultana Khatun (born 5 February 1996) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh women's national cricket team as a right-arm off break bowler. International career In April 2023, she was earned maiden call-up for the Bangladesh's T20I and ODI squad for the series against Sri Lanka. She made her One Day International (ODI) debut in same series on 29 April 2023. She made her Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Sri Lanka in the same series on 9 May 2023. In May 2023, she was selected to Bangladesh A team for the inaugural season of ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right arm, right-handed spin bowling, spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team represents Sri Lanka in international women's cricket. One of eight teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship (the highest level of the sport), the team is organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). 2023 ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2023 ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the inaugural edition of the ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup played in Hong Kong in June 2023, with all the matches held at the Mission Road Ground in Kowloon. Eight teams took part in the tournament, including the A teams of four nations with ODI status and the next four top associate teams. The tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). 7 of the scheduled 12 matches in the first round of the tournament were rained out. Only two teams – Malaysia and United Arab Emirates – were able to play more than one match, and the match between those two teams was also reduced to 5 overs. One of the semi-finals was also rained out, meaning that Bangladesh A and Pakistan A were the only other teams that had played more than one match going into the final. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019.
