Suleiman Abba
Suleiman Abba (born 22 March 1959) is a retired Nigerian police officer who served as the 17th Inspector General of Police (Nigeria), Inspector General of Nigerian Police. He was appointed as acting IGP on 1 August 2014 by President Goodluck Jonathan and later confirmed as substantive IGP on 4 November 2014. Before the appointment, Abba was serving as the Assistant Inspector-General in Charge of Zone 7, Abuja. Sani Abacha
Sani Abacha (20 September 1943 – 8 June 1998) was a Nigerian military officer and politician who ruled as the military head of state of Nigeria from 1993 until his death in 1998. He seized power on 17 November 1993 in the last successful coup d'etat in the military history of Nigeria. He was the Chief of Army Staff between 1985 to 1990; Chief of Defence Staff between 1990 to 1993; and Minister of Defence. Abacha became the first Nigerian Army officer to attain the rank of a full military general without skipping a single rank. Maryam Abacha
Maryam Abacha (born 4 March 1949) is the widow of Sani Abacha, Nigeria's military ruler from 1993 to 1998. After the death of her husband, Maryam was caught while attempting to leave Nigeria with 38 suitcases filled with cash. In 1999, Maryam Abacha said that her husband acted in the good will of Nigeria; an official of the Nigerian government said that Maryam Abacha said that to convince the government to grant her a reprieve, as the president, Olusegun Obasanjo, had been jailed by Sani Abacha. University Of Abuja
The University of Abuja is a tertiary institution in the Nigerian capital, Abuja. It was established in January 1988 (under Decree No. 110 of 1992 as amended) as a dual-mode university with the mandate to run conventional and distance learning programmes. Academic work began in the university in 1990 with the matriculation of its pioneer students.
