Sulaiman Damit
Sulaiman Damit (; 28 March 1941 – 8 July 2016) was a Bruneian soldier who served as the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) from 1990 until 1994. Early life and education Sulaiman was born on 28 March 1941, at Kampong Keriam, in Tutong District. He received his formal education at the Malay School in Seria from 1948 until 1952. He then pursued his studies at the Anthony Abell College, Seria, from 1953 until 1960. Early in December 1960, the local newspaper and radio station released an announcement that there was a spot available for officer cadets to train at the Federation Military College in Malaya for two years. This was the beginning of the "three musketeers" voyage. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Royal Military College (Malaysia)
Royal Military College ( ms, Maktab Tentera DiRaja; abbreviated RMC) is an all-boys military school established to train young Malaysians for service in the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF). RMC is an elite and prestigious College in Malaysia. It is sometimes dubbed "the Malaya's Sandhurst". On 9 December 1966, in a ceremony held at the college, HM Ismail Nasiruddin of Terengganu, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, conferred the "Royal" (Malay: ''DiRaja'') title to the FMC. This was a great honour for the college as RMC the only educational institution in the history of this nation has the "Royal" title bestowed upon it. Anthony Abell College (, ') is a government secondary school in Seria, a town in Belait District, Brunei. It was one of the earliest secondary schools to be established in the country. The school provides five years of general secondary education leading up to O Level qualification. It has 630 students. The current principal is Mas Diana binti Haji Abdul Samat. Seria () is a town in Belait District, Brunei, about west from the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The total population was 3,625 in 2016. It was where oil was first struck in Brunei in 1929 and has since become a centre for the country's oil and gas industry.
