Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib
Dato' Sri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Taib (born 31 May 1968) is a former Deputy Minister of Tourism of Malaysia. He is the 3rd son of Abdul Taib Mahmud who is the current Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak while his mother was the late Laila Taib. Sulaiman wed 20-year-old Anisa, daughter of the former Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak George Chan Hong Nam. Business Malaysia Sulaiman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. Sulaiman was the group chairman of CMSB from 2002 to 2006, and the former RHB Bank chairman from May 2003 to 2006 following the takeover of RHB by CMS's Utama Banking group. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. The party was led by Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and increased its parliamentary representation from one seat to 31 seats in the 2008 general election, until the five-year political ban imposed on former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was lifted on 14 April 2008. Dewan Rakyat
The Dewan Rakyat (English: 'House of Representatives'; ) is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament, the federal legislature of Malaysia. The chamber and its powers are established by Article 44 of the Constitution of Malaysia. The Dewan Rakyat sits in the Houses of Parliament in Kuala Lumpur, along with the Dewan Negara, the upper house. The Dewan Rakyat is a directly elected body consisting of 222 members known as Members of Parliament (MPs). Members are elected by first-past-the-post voting with one member from each federal constituency. The Most Excellent Order of the Star of Sarawak(lit: 'Darjah Yang Amat Gemilang Bintang Sarawak') was established by Charles Vyner Brooke, The Rajah of Sarawak, on 26 September 1928 as the highest order of chivalry within the Raj of Sarawak.Sarawak Government Almanac,Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad (Cawangan Sarawak) The motto of the order was "Haraplah Sa-lagi Bernafas", which was also the Sarawak state motto, a translation of the Latin phrase Dum Spiro Spero, which literally means "As long as I breathe, I hope". Kota Samarahan, formerly known as Muara Tuang, is a town and the administrative seat of the Samarahan District in Samarahan Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is also a satellite town for Kuching due to its proximity to the city part of Greater Kuching area. Datuk Syed Ahmad Alwee Alsree ( ar, سيد أحمد علوي السري ') is the Group Executive Director of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB). He is married to a daughter of Abdul Taib Mahmud where the latter is the Sarawak chief minister. He was originally from Singapore but he has since moved to Kuching when he had earlier joined Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad in February 2004 as Group General Manager – Human Resources. He was appointed as Group Executive Director of CMSB on 19 August 2008 following an earlier appointment as Deputy Group Managing Director in September 2006. The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. Cabinet Of Sarawak
The Cabinet of Sarawak is the decision making organ of the executive branch of the Government of Sarawak, Malaysia. The cabinet consists of the Premier, appointed by the Governor on the basis that they are able to command a majority in the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly, as well as a number of ministers appointed from members of the legislature on the advice of the Premier. The cabinet is similar in structure and role to that of the federal level, while being smaller in size.
