''Suggestionata'' is a 1978 Italian drama film directed by Alfredo Rizzo and starring Eleonora Giorgi and Gabriele Ferzetti. Plot An engineer, a wealthy professional, and a former fascist, returns to Italy to reclaim his land. Widowed with three young children, he forms a voluntary bond with a young and alluring woman. Influenced by the political and social discussions of her father, which she had heard when she was just thirteen, she orchestrates a situation in which she isolates herself with her lover's children and leads them into the moral abyss in which she finds herself. The protagonist will thus find himself facing a series of crimes, without even understanding whether they are motivated by political revenge or material gain. Alfredo Rizzo
Alfredo Rizzo (2 January 1902 – 6 September 1991) was an Italian actor, screenwriter and director. Life and career Born in Nice, France into a family of actors, Rizzo started his career as an actor of avanspettacolo and revue, often alongside his brother Carlo Rizzo, Carlo. After his debut on the big screen in 1939, in the aftermath of the Second World War he had an intense and long film career, being mostly cast in the role of "villain". Gabriele Ferzetti
Gabriele Ferzetti (born Pasquale Ferzetti; 17 March 1925 – 2 December 2015) was an Italian actor with more than 160 credits across film, television, and stage. His career was at its peak in the 1950s and 1960s. Ferzetti's first leading role was in the film ''Lo Zappatore'' (1950). He portrayed Puccini twice in the films ''Puccini (film), Puccini'' (1953) and ''Casa Ricordi (film), Casa Ricordi'' (1954). He made his international breakthrough in Michelangelo Antonioni's controversial ''L'Avventura'' (1960) as a restless playboy. Eleonora Giorgi (born 21 October 1953) is an Italian actress. Biography Giorgi was born in Rome. Her father was of Italian and English origin. Her mother was of Italian and Hungarian origin. She made her film debut in a minor role in Paolo Cavara's horror film '' Black Belly of the Tarantula'' (1970) and subsequently appeared in nearly fifty films, mostly in prominent roles. Carlo Savina (2 August 1919 - 23 June 2002) was an Italian composer and conductor who composed, arranged, and conducted music for films, and is especially remembered for being the music director of films such as ''The Godfather'' (1972), ''Amarcord'' (1973), and '' The Bear'' (1988). Giampiero Albertini (20 December 1927 – 14 May 1991) was an Italian film, television and voice actor. Biography Born in Muggiò, Albertini started his career as stage actor at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, under the guidance of Giorgio Strehler.
