Term Of Endearment
A term of endearment is a word or phrase used to address or describe a person, animal or inanimate object for which the speaker feels love or affection. Terms of endearment are used for a variety of reasons, such as parents addressing their children and sexual partner, lovers addressing each other. Etymology Such words may not in their original use bear any resemblance in meaning to the meaning attached when used as a term of endearment, for example calling a significant other "pumpkin". Some words are clearly derived from each other, such as "sweetheart" and "sweetie", while others bear no etymological resemblance, such as "baby", "babe", and "cutie". "Honey" has been documented as a term of endearment from at least the 14th century. "Baby" was first used in 1839 and "sugar" only appeared as recently as 1930. Usage Each term of endearment has its own connotations, which are highly dependent on the situation they are used in, such as tone of voice, body language, and soci ...

Sugar Baby
Sugar dating, also called sugaring, is a relationship of an older wealthy person and a younger person who is in need of financial assistance. This sometimes achieves mutual benefits, but is often abused to take advantage of and coerce poor people. According to the ''Oxford English Dictionary'' (2017), the term "sugar" is slang, but is often used as a modifier to "sweeten" something or as a euphemism for money. Payment can be received by way of money, gifts like designer goods, jewellery, support or other material benefits in exchange for companionship or a dating-like relationship. The person who receives the gifts is called a sugar baby, while their paying partner is called a sugar daddy or sugar momma. Sugar dating is especially popular in the online dating community due to the easy access to specific niches and desires. Prevalence The phenomenon of powerful men using their money to attract women is old. At the end of the 19th century, in a phenomenon known as "treating", wo ...

Sugar Baby (song)
"Sugar Baby" is a song written and performed by the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released in 2001 as the 12th and final track on his album '' Love and Theft''. Like most of Dylan's 21st century output, he produced the song himself under the pseudonym Jack Frost. Composition and recording In their book ''Bob Dylan All the Songs: The Story Behind Every Track'', authors Philippe Margotin and Jean-Michel Guesdon describe the song's lyrics as: "A narrator talks with mixed feelings about a woman who haunts him". They note that, musically, the song has an arrangement with "fewer instruments" than the other songs on ''Love and Theft'' and an "ethereal atmosphere" that is reminiscent of the work of producer Daniel Lanois. Part of the chord progression and the lines, "Look up, look up, seek your maker, 'fore Gabriel blows his horn" are taken from the song "The Lonesome Road", co-written and performed by Gene Austin, and later covered by Frank Sinatra in a swing arrangement. ...
