Suga (album)
Terri & Monica was an R&B duo from the early 1990s which featured Terri Robinson (August 12, 1970) and Monica Payne (February 22, 1969), who were members of the short-lived late 1980s New Jack Swing R&B group The Gyrlz along with third member Tara Geter. As members of The Gyrlz, they released one album for Uptown Records under distribution from Capitol Records- 1988's ''Love Me or Leave Me''. After Geter left the group, Robinson and Payne continued on as a duo. They released a pair of full-length recordings, 1993's ''Systa'' and 1996's ''Suga'', both released via Epic Records. The latter spawned a Billboard Magazine hit single, "Sexuality (If You Take Your Love)." ''Poetic Justice'' is a 1993 American romantic drama film written and directed by John Singleton and starring Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur with Regina King and Joe Torry in supporting roles. ''Poetic Justice'' follows Justice (Jackson), a poet mourning the loss of her boyfriend from gun violence, who goes on a road trip from South Central L.A. to Oakland on a mail truck along with her friend (King) and a postal worker (Shakur) who she initially cannot stand but soon helps Justice deal with her depression. "Loungin" is the third and final single by American rapper LL Cool J from his sixth studio album '' Mr. Smith''. It was released as a single by Def Jam Recordings on June 25, 1996. The LP version was produced by Rashad "Ringo" Smith and featured backing vocals by R&B duo Terri & Monica. The Radio Remix Edit, titled "Loungin (Who Do Ya Luv)", was remixed by Trackmasters and featured backing vocals by R&B group Total. ''In Living Color'' is an American sketch comedy television series that originally ran on Fox from April 15, 1990 to May 19, 1994. Keenen Ivory Wayans created, wrote and starred in the program. The show was produced by Ivory Way Productions in association with 20th Television and was taped at stage 7 at the Fox Television Center on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. The title of the series was inspired by the NBC announcement of broadcasts being presented "in living color" during the 1960s, prior to mainstream color television.
