Sueño Electro I
''Sueño Electro I'' (Electro Dream l) is the Grammy Award-nominated fourth studio album from the Mexican electropop band Belanova, and the first half of the Sueño Electro project. It was originally announced through the band's official Twitter page, along with a redesigned band logo and concept art image. The album was released in select markets in Mexico on October 23, 2010, and then throughout all of Mexico, the United States, and Latin America on October 25. Bassist Richie Arreola first confirmed in an interview that the album would be the first half of a double album. The band later commented that '' Sueño Electro II'' was recorded simultaneously with the first. The band revealed that there would be a wide range of musical styles present throughout the albums, including throwbacks to past albums '' Fantasía Pop'' and ''Cocktail'', as well as new sounds for the band such as French horns and a string orchestra. ''Fantasía Pop'' (Pop Fantasy) is the third studio album by the Mexican electropop band Belanova. It was released in September 2007 in Mexico, Spain, the United States and the rest of Latin America. The album was recorded in Argentina. The first single, "Baila Mi Corazón" premiered on July 2 on Mexican radio station Los 40 Principales. The album was certified gold by AMPROFON in Mexico only three days after its release, for selling over 50,000 copies. The album entered the Mexican charts at number eighteen and went to number one in its third week. "Baila Mi Corazón" ranked in the top twenty in the U.S. Latin Pop Charts. "Cada Que..." went on to sell over 200,000 downloads in the United States alone. When the album was certified Platinum in March 2008 in Mexico, the band made history when it was published that digital sales of the album were five times higher than the physical sales. Elena Sergeevna Katina (russian: link=no, Елена Сергеевна Катина; born 4 October 1984), better known as Lena Katina, is a Russian musician who gained fame as one half of the pop/electronica duo t.A.T.u. ''Cocktail'' is the début album from the Mexican electropop band Belanova. The album was recorded in Mexico City in 2002 and finally released on 14 February 2003 without promotion. The album spent its first months on the shelves, but then radio picked up the first single, "Tus Ojos." By the summer of 2003, the album had entered the album charts reaching its peak position of number-five and number-three on the ''Mexican Latin Albums Chart''. The band embarked on a 100-concert tour across the Mexican territory and the album finally reached Gold (50,000 Copies sold) status after three official singles. The Mexican edition of ''Rolling Stone'' named the album, ''Cocktail'', one of the best five albums of 2003. Belanova
Belanova was a Mexican pop music, pop band that formed in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2000. The group consisted of Denisse Guerrero (lead vocals), Edgar Huerta (keyboards, programming) and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola (Bass (instrument), bass, guitar).
