Sue Jowett
Susan Margaret Pavish (née Jowett; born 14 September 1956) is a former New Zealand sprint (running), sprinter. Jowett won the 1976 New Zealand 100 and 200m titles. She then went on to compete in the Athletics at the 1976 Summer Olympics – Women's 100 metres, women's 100 metres at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Sprinting is running over a short distance at the top-most speed of the body in a limited period of time. It is used in many sports that incorporate running, typically as a way of quickly reaching a target or goal, or avoiding or catching an opponent.
