Sue Hammell
Sue Hammell (born June 18, 1945) is a Canadian politician who is the former MLA for Surrey-Green Timbers in the province of British Columbia for most of the years between 1991 and 2017, she retired and did not seek re-election in May 2017. Her most recent appointment is Official Opposition Critic for Mental Health and Substance Use. Previously her other Opposition roles were: Official Opposition Deputy House Leader and the Opposition Critic for Women’s Issues, Child Care and Early Learning. Richmond is a coastal city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. Lois Ruth Boone (born April 26, 1947) is a Canadians, Canadian politician. She served as MLA for Prince George North from 1986 to 1991, and Prince George-Mount Robson from 1991 to 2001, in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Penny Priddy (born March 5, 1944 in Toronto, Ontario) is a politician from British Columbia, Canada. Priddy is the only woman in Canadian history to be elected to school board, city council, a provincial legislature and the House of Commons. Helmut Giesbrecht (February 18, 1943 – October 9, 2020) was an educator and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Skeena in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1991 to 2001 as a New Democratic Party (NDP) member. Career Giesbrecht was born in Ukraine. Gulzar Singh Cheema (born August 11, 1954) is an Indian-born Canadian physician and politician.
