Sudnobudivna ( uk, Суднобудівна) (proposed, Havan'; uk, Гавань) is a station currently under construction on the Kyiv Metro's Podilsko-Vyhurivska Line. The station is part of the first segment of the Podilsko-Vyhurivska Line, which is scheduled to be completed after 2022. Rybalskyi Peninsula
Rybalskyi Island ( uk, Рибальський півострів, translit. ; literally: Fisherman's island) is a misnomer for an actual peninsula on the Dnieper River, located in the right-bank Podil neighborhood and Kyiv Harbor of the city of Kyiv. Although named as an island it is in fact a peninsula and a former spit serving as a left-bank of a former Pochaina River that with time transformed into several oxbow lakes located in Obolon (see Opechen lakes). The peninsula is now a predominantly industrial area. History The peninsula was formed from clay deposits, which served as the left-bank of the Pochaina River. Rybalskyi Peninsula takes its name from the fishermen of Podil who once lived on it. In 1897-1899, the peninsula was raised and strengthened, which would later enable it to house a local shipyard for steamboats (engineered by M.Maksymovych), as well as to form the newly built Kyiv Harbor between the peninsula and the Podil riverbank. Kyiv Metro
The Kyiv Metro ( uk, Ки́ївський метрополіте́н, Kyivskyi metropoliten, ) is a rapid transit system in Kyiv that is owned by the Kyiv City Council and operated by the city-owned company Kyivsky Metropoliten''.'' It was initially opened on November 6th, 1960, as a single line with five stations. It was the first rapid transit system in Ukraine and the third in the Soviet Union, after the Moscow and St. Petersburg metros. Kuznia na Rybalskomu ( uk, "Кузня на Рибальському") is a ship building and arms industry, armament company in Kyiv, Ukraine. Situated on the Dnieper River and presently concentrating on river ships, the company is also able to produce and repair small sea vessels (both civil and navy, naval), as well as various military equipment. Kuznia na Rybalskomu was indirectly controlled by Ukrainian businessman and politician Petro Poroshenko and politician Ihor Kononenko as of 2017.
