Sucker Lake is an endorheic lake in the municipality of Assiginack, Manitoulin District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is on Manitoulin Island about southwest of the community of Manitowaning and about southeast of the much larger Lake Manitou Lake Manitou is the largest lake on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. With an area of , it is the largest lake on a lake island in the world. It is drained by the Manitou River. There are several small islands in Lake Manitou, such as Rope .... Sucker Lake (Nipissing District)
Sucker Lake is a lake in geographic La Salle Township and geographic Osborne Township in the Unorganized North Part of Nipissing District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada, about east of the railway point of Diver on the Ontario Northland Railway. It is in the Saint Lawrence River drainage basin and is the source of Sucker Creek. The lake has three unnamed inflows: at the west, arriving from the direction of La Salle Lakes; at the north, arriving from the direction of Serene Lake; at the east, arriving from an unnamed lake. The primary outflow, at the south, is Sucker Creek, which flows via Little Sucker Lake, the Jocko River, and the Ottawa River to the Saint Lawrence River. The lake has one island, at the west. The southwest shore of the lake, from the unnamed inflow arriving at the west from La Salle Lakes to the Succker Creek outflow at the south, is along the border with Jocko Rivers Provincial Park. Oswego Lake is a lake in Clackamas County, Oregon that is completely surrounded by the city of Lake Oswego. Though the lake is naturally occurring (a former channel of the Tualatin River), it has been significantly altered because of the concrete dam that has increased its size to . The United States Geological Survey records the official name as ''Lake Oswego'' and, because of its artificially increased size, classifies it as a reservoir. To distinguish it from the city, however, the lake is usually called ''Oswego Lake''. Geologic history The lake is a former channel of the Tualatin River, carved in basalt to the Willamette River. Eventually, the river changed course and abandoned the Oswego route.
