Suchitra Bandekar (Marathi: सुचित्रा बांदेकर) is an Indian actress. She mainly works in Hindi and Marathi films and television. Childhood She was born and brought up in Nashik, Maharashtra. She attended school in Balmohan Vidya Mandir and college in D. G. Ruparel College, Dadar. Personal life Suchitra got married with her long time boyfriend Aadesh Bandekar in 1990. She has a son, named Soham Bandekar. Aadesh Chandrakant Bandekar is a Marathi actor, TV host, and a Shiv Sena secretary and leader. He is known for hosting the Marathi game show ''Home Minister'' on Zee Marathi since 2004. He is the chairman of Shree Siddhivinayak Temple Trust and has a status of Minister of State Government of Maharashtra. He holds a Degree in M.A. Political Science from University of Mumbai (2020–22). Career Entertainment Bandekar hosted the musical Antakshari show ''Tak Dhina Dhin'' on DD National. Bandekar is known for hosting the game show ''Home Minister'' on Zee Marathi since 2004. In the show, Aadesh Bandekar visits various homes and plays games with the house wives where the winner wins a Paithani saree. Zee Marathi is an Indian general entertainment channel which carries programming in Marathi. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The channel was launched on 15 August 1999 and was known as Alpha TV Marathi until 28 March 2005, then it was renamed as Zee Marathi. It is the first Marathi GEC channel. A HD version of this channel, Zee Marathi HD, was launched on 20 November 2016.
