Westley Gough
Westley Gough (born 4 May 1988, Hastings) is a New Zealand professional racing cyclist. In 2011 he won the New Zealand National Road Championships ITT. Gough was in the New Zealand team that beat Great Britain for gold in the team pursuit at the 2005 World Junior Championships in Austria. He gained a silver medal in the individual pursuit at the 2006 World Junior Championships, and he was part of the quartet that won the silver in the team pursuit behind Australia. He won a bronze medal in the men's team pursuit event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China. Gough rode in the team's preliminary events, but made way for Hayden Roulston to join the team in the final. The International Olympic Committee subsequently struck an extra bronze medal for Gough to recognise his contribution to the pursuit team's success. Michael Vink (born 22 November 1991) is a New Zealand professional road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He was signed by on the strength of his results in the virtual cycling platform ‘MyWhoosh’. Vink has won the Tour of Southland three times (2018, 2019, 2021), a feat only achieved by four other riders. Peter Latham (cyclist)
Peter David Latham (born 8 January 1984) is a New Zealand former professional racing cyclist. He competed in the team pursuit at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where New Zealand finished tenth. In 2005 Latham won the bronze medal in the Under 23 Individual Time Trial at the Road World Championships in Madrid. He competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne where along with Tim Gudsell, Hayden Godfrey and Marc Ryan he won a bronze medal in the Team pursuit. Career In 2005 Latham went to the UCI Road World Championships to compete in the Under-23 category. In the time trial Latham came third 37 seconds behind winner Mikhail Ignatiev.
