Subprefecture Of Sé
The Subprefecture of Sé is one of 32 subprefectures of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It comprises eight districts: Bela Vista, Bom Retiro, Cambuci, Consolação, Liberdade, República, Sé, Santa Cecília. This subprefecture forms the inner city, historical core of the city. The São Paulo Stock Exchange is also located in this area. Bom Retiro (district Of São Paulo)
Bom Retiro (Korean: 좋은 은퇴) is a central district in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is primarily commercial but has industrial and residential areas. The district is served by Line 1 (Blue) of the São Paulo Metro and by the lines 7 (Ruby), 10 (Turquoise), and 11 (Coral) of the CPTM. There is also a planned station for Line 4 (Yellow) of the São Paulo Metro. Formation In the late 19th century and the early 20th century, Bom Retiro was considered to be a modern region. Liberdade (, ''liberty''; ja, リベルダージ, Riberudāji) is the name of a district in the subprefecture of Sé, in São Paulo, Brazil. By various estimates, it is home to the world's largest ethnic Japanese community outside Japan. History Liberdade was known as Campo da Forca (''Field of the Gallows'') until the late 19th century, and was an area reserved for the execution of slaves and convicts. Death was considered the only path to liberty (''liberdade'') for slaves.
